Project description

To gain an additional area for faculty offices and instructional space, this project involved renovating the enclosed courtyard of the School of Public Health Building (formerly the HPER Building) on the IU Bloomington campus. The courtyard was entirely enclosed by the building and was not open for public use. This project entailed constructing a roof over the courtyard and building three levels within the space. Approximately 16,000 assignable square feet (asf) of new building space, which included a 190-seat auditorium, was added to the building.
