Project description
This project involved renovating a covered passenger waiting area that expanded the park-and-ride operations of the campus bus system west and north of Memorial Stadium. Additional improvements included new pedestrian signalization at the Dunn Street entry/exit to the stadium parking lot, the introduction of sidewalks at the Dunn Street and 19th Street intersection to improve pedestrian safety, the expansion of the reinforced concrete travel ways for the buses with the existing parking lot, raised concrete islands to organize bus traffic at the waiting facility, and a small restroom facility.
