Project description

The primary objective for Phase I of the Qualified Energy Savings Project (QESP) is to reduce energy costs by upgrading and replacing energy-wasteful electrical and mechanical systems in four buildings: the Medical Research and Library Building, the Business/School of Public Environmental Affairs building, the Engineering and Technology Building, and Gatch Hall on the IU Indianapolis campus. Secondary objectives include reducing maintenance costs of those systems as well as decreasing water and sewer expenses.
