Project description

This project will renovate eight teaching laboratories and related support areas in the Chemistry Building, while replacing aging air handling systems that serve these spaces. Upgrades include the installation of 92 high-efficiency, low-flow fume hoods to improve laboratory safety and deliver significant energy savings. Teaching laboratories will be reconfigured and modernized to enhance safety, visibility, and accessibility, supporting more flexible and collaborative instruction. The project also includes replacement of the building’s central heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Work will be completed in two phases to ensure uninterrupted instructional delivery.
